He couldn't tho, because it's clearly stated that once you have enter the zone it is relatively difficult to enter again. Except if you have a guy like kuroko tho or if you are aomine, because aomine is the only one who can forcibly enter the zone.

To enter zone, you need to give it your all, Nash wasn't doing it until the very end. If there was more time left, he definitely would've entered zone because Akashi could evenly match him now. Silver can't enter zone because, as Nash said, he lacks focus.
