They both had tragic lives. Sure Ciel had ten years of peace and loved unconditionally by his parents and brother but it was stolen from him tragically. Man I was like no is she actually going to put it in the manga that he was molested and raped by the cult and sure enough she sure hell did. I was like this is horrible. For days I couldn't read the manga without crying for what happened to them. The image of them holding hands as they were being violated haunted me. Then when I saw when what Lord Trancy did to Alois it all clicked into place why he is the way he is. The reason they both are so cold and broken inside is that rape does that to a victim. It destroys you from the inside out. I feel thee anguish as I too was molested as a child and I feel their pain. I too lost a loved one tragically and suddenly when I was barely older than they were. I was twelve when I lost my dear father and I had to grow up fast. I suffered with depression and how to mask it from those around me. I understand their pain.
