Here's an attempt at Do Re Mi.
I took the drum stems from an alternate take of Lithium (missing Tom and Overhead stems, so the drum sound is kinda narrow and weird, sorry about that), then added a bass guitar and a couple of guitars to it.
Artwork by Kurt Cobain.

Actually there are several versions. Two earlier versions from January 1994, One from sometime in March 1994 and the third from March 25, 1994. The first featured Kurt Singing and on Drums, Eric Erlandson (Hole's Bassist) on Bass, and Pat Smear on Guitar. The third featured Kurt Singing and on Guitar and Pat also on Guitar. A fourth version also exists featuring Kurt Singing and playing Guitar with Pat backing him on Guitar. The latter two recordings have yet to be released sadly...

This would've been a classic, for sure. It's SO catchy. I've randomly started singing it to myself plenty of times over the years. I can totally hear Dave and Krist grooving out on this one, Pat with some little lead guitar flourishes, and Kurt on the acoustic. Same vibe as the MTV Unplugged session - that's the direction they were apparently heading in, and I would've LOVED to hear what they came up with. Kurt's voice always worked with acoustic guitar REALLY well.

You Know You're Right being a hit single, then a month or two later release the album, hosting songs such as Do Re Mi, Burn the Rain and Poison's Gone. Crazy how all we can do now is imagine. We'll never get those priceless times back.

Underrated comment. I've spent a lot of time pondering this, that there is a better version of world we hopped timelines away from becoming. Where some people didn't die, and maybe some others got stopped. It could have been good vibes forever, that only grew with tolerance being the main thing we needed to play extra hard catching up on.

And if I’m made cold as ice I may have to see me healed. Follow pain and be me. He once said it’s all in the music, It’s all in the meat. Courtney said it best in the eulogy. “Kurt you’re a fucking asshole” and that’s exactly what he was. A great great artist. But an asshole. So bittersweet to hear this. Such an amazing song written by Kurt, and the added music is incredible. This song makes me want to jam, smile, and cry all at the same time.

In some other timeline, Nirvana released Fuck You All This is the Last Song of the Evening in 1995 and this song was on it. I think Nirvanas follow up to In Utero would've put everything they did earlier to shame by comparison

Their 4th album would have been their best. The catchiness of Nevermind and heaviness of In Utero, along with this indescribable vibe to it whenever I hear songs that would’ve been on the 4th record... they just sound so dreamy and ethereal and I feel lost in space when I listen to them. Such a shame Kurt didn’t realize just how gifted he was, that he wasn’t a “death rocker” as he described himself in his suicide note, but a beautiful songwriter whose music could make a person feel so many emotions.
