it's so interesting seeing Kurt comfortable like this. The media really makes him out to be a drug crazed, insane freak. but I think he was just a normal guy with a lot of baggage. love Kurt and nirvana.

Absolutely. Kurt absolutely hated how the media made him into something he wasn't. He was exactly what you said: a normal, pretty down-to-earth dude with more than a few problems, like the rest of us. It's such a shame to see him care for his baby girl here and know he killed himself only a few years later...

@TheLegend27 Yes my fathers side is all alcoholics they live in dirt trash houses and one my uncles had a daughter that got preggo at 13 and the boyfriend was 17 and got arrested the next week alcohol is definitely the worst even if the effects arent that bad like heroin the usage in the world is heavy

He tried to kill himself in Rome, it was not an accident. You don't take at least 40 pills of Rohypnol by accident. And two days before this overdose, he wrote a testament, which it proves this was indeed a suicide attempt. Recording to his friends and Krist Novoselic, Kurt was really quiet after Rome and he seemed "not the same". When Krist was taking him to rehab, Kurt tried to jump off the car. He locked himself in a room with a shotgun, and he put a rope on his neck. He was also only 125 pounds at the time. Basically every person that was around him at the time said they're was something wrong with him. Ironic that the guy, Duff, from Guns and Roses was the last person he saw. When Kurt busted out of the Rehab, he got on a plane for L.A. and he saw the blonde guitarist on the plane and he sat with him.
