I want this game to be inclusive to every Nirvana fan, it takes place between 1989-1994. That way you aren't expected to know the series to be able to enjoy it. game will be available for everyone to play, even if you think I'm an asshole, you're welcome to play it. I'm not in the game. literally only times and events from Kurt's actual life. IKCL is also just a working title

Spoiler alert: That's just the worst ending. In the best ending, he makes it to 2024 and Nirvana has a 37-year legacy. In the neutral ending, Nirvana breaks up in '94, kurt does some solo work, and then dies in 2004 of an overdose on heroin. In the good ending, Nirvana lasts to 2004, they break up, but Kurt still makes it to 2024.

When I was in junior high - highschool, about 4 or 5 years I was deeply obsessed with Nirvana and Kurdt Cobain...to an unhealthy degree. I read every biography, I found every lost track, B-side and live recording before they were main. I had every second of video in existence. I listened to every other Seattle scene band pre & post Nevermind (Mudhoney, The Melvins, The Pixies, The Jesus Lizard, L7, Meat Puppets, NIN.....The Foofees, Hole and Pearl Jam were more of a requirement but also every band that inspired Nirvana and every band they eventually inspired, everything) Of course Cobain's head went missing one day so eventually I ran out of new material and moved on. I got into ska music sk8boarding and ska hating. I think any true fan of music never stops developing and refining one's musical tastes and experimenting. Always trying something else newer and newer which counterintuitively allowed me to recognize that genres and stylistic strata are very subtly deliniated. It's all scales and tempo and tone. It's all literally relative. Alchemical science or black magic, whatever.

A few months ago, I was thinking of a similar concept. Like some sort of Earthbound-esque RPG that sums up the life of a famous rockstar. Except, you play as Ozzy Osbourne… y’know, his rise to fame. Black Sabbath, Randy Rhoads etc. I was delighted when I saw somebody basing a game off of Kurt! This will be an incredible game for sure!

I do have one suggestion. Add a simplistic lead guitar part to Something In the Way to make it more interesting. Like just the vocal melody but on guitar. Just a way to fill out the soundtrack some.

Honestly, not really. I'm really fond of the program I use to make it, so really the hardest part of making this is using MS Paint lol, other than that, it didn't take a long time at all. 80% of what's in this video was made Months ago, I only recently picked it back up and started adding to it
