I thought I might check out one of Schlichter’s novels so I pulled up The Split on Amazon to see that one of the people he credits with helping him write the book is Seb Gorka. That’s enough to let me know to steer clear of this guy. Jack, I’ve bought and read all five of your novels. I have the utmost respect for SEALS and our military in general. I’ve watched several of your podcasts and you appear to be highly intelligent, honorable and patriotic. Why, given those attributes and the fact that you took an oath to protect and defend our Constitution when you entered the military, do you interview/fawn over so many guests who are anti-democratic at best, bordering on fascist at worst? Is it simple pandering to the MAGA mob? Is it a business calculation, with you thinking that’s your audience, those are the people who buy your books? Why do you ignore the multitude of crimes, some treasonous, committed by Trump and those in government who continue to support him? There are people, believe it or not, who are moderate or liberal politically, who support the military and love democracy and the Constitution. You are forcing me to re-evaluate my opinion of you and whether I should continue purchasing your books and watching your podcast.
