Never have I seen a man shred an acoustic guitar like an electric. Only Kurt can do something like that
Funny how he fingerpicks electric guitar yet flatpicks the banjo 😅

I saw him live tonight. His guitar licks are absolutely hypnotizing and the bass and drums are a solid unit. When they kick in on every song you say, "Oh yeah that's it Daddy."
@JvanEdits Жыл бұрын
You're really lucky, i wish i could see him one day. I think I can safely assume I'm his biggest fan, i know pretty much all of his songs on guitar, all of his licks, his playstyle. Kurt is the reason i became good on guitar, maybe one day I'll see him

Considering I’m usually pretty explorative in my search for new artists, I can’t believe I hadn’t discovered Kurt’s music until only recently. Spotify’s recommended artists feature really dropped the ball there. In the old days I’d sit in music stores for hours demoing various albums in hopes of finding a gem. I had that feeling when first hearing “Loading Zones”, which then led to checking out the rest of Kurt’s great catalog. He’s since become one of my favorite musicians (probably the best thing I’ve heard since Mars Volta’s first album decades ago). There are a lot of bands that write a couple good tunes but the rest of their material is only ok. I find Kurt’s albums are solid track to track. He may not be the best musician, the best singer, or the most lively performer, but he’s an excellent songwriter, has a great band and the entire package just works. His music is unique, evokes emotion and memorable. I can’t wait to one day see him live. Please make your way up to upstate NY Kurt. Hopefully your around for a long time.

100% he's adorable with his imperfect singing style and playing style which makes him approachable to me, a singer and guitarist since I was a teen. it's art that has perfection in it's imperfection, like us humans
