Non verbals are huge and he crushed it in that movie. Monarch with the two of them is great. Such a cool thing to be able to do and helps with that emersion. One of the reasons I really respect Kurt Russell is because of how he views his work. He takes it seriously, and he separates himself from the work and the characters. It's one of the reasons he has somewhat limited social media presence. Not that he has no social media presence, but he makes it a point not to throw every little opinion he has out there, because he understands that what he does entertains *everyone* from all walks of life and he feels that it's not an actor's job to get political. It can be hard not to speak up, especially when you know you can have an impact if you do, and I respect him for respecting the work and trying to maintain a professional approach to acting. It puts him in a class above a lot of actors for me just for that alone, if not for his incredible acting chops.
