@@aa-mb9oj Well if your whole "family" died of "covid" it sounds like there was an underlying condition which may have been hereditary. If it is true i am truly sorry for your loss but I dont see people dropping like flies so its honestly nothing to have a pandemic over. If you wanna wear a mask 24/7 and keep 6 feet away from people thats up to you but dont push that upon others. The flu "may" be real but shutting down the world over it just sounds a little fishy to the average person who thinks for themselves. I dont believe in any of it and so do billions of other people. We have much worse problems in the world right now.

Love how this guy treats everyone with so much respect and appreciates all the different cultures. He is such an inspiration because so many times the tourist treat the locals like they don’t have any value just because of the humbling way that they live. Translations: 2:39 _"In case of earthquake go to high zones or inland"._ 4:26 She said _"Casi no soy experta"_ which more or less translates into _"I am not very skilled at it"._ 10:09 She said _"Yo le pregunté a... cómo se llama? A Eduardo... Y (él) me dijo que depronto (usted) no iba a almorzar sino a cenar, por eso no le preparé... ¡Pero yo le preparo enseguida"_ is more or less _"I asked... What's his name? Eduardo... And he told me that it was possible that you were not having lunch but only dinner, that's why I did not cook anything for you... but I can prepare something for you right away!"_ There is also an error of translation in 16:10, she actually said _"el 19 es que le llegan 4, el 19 de este mes me llegan 4"_ which actually means that four tourists will arrive at Bahia Solano on the 19th of the current month not that there were only four tourists in 2019. Also, it was funny at the end that since you said _"muy calor"_ instead of _"muy caliente",_ she thought that you meant _"mucho calor"_ and that's why she put on the fan, she did not understand you were talking about the soup and not about the temperature of the house, haha.

She trusted Kurt a lot, but I guess a homogenous society creates Trust, WHITE countries are being flooded with non-whites thus distrust in a lot of white countries. Diversity is not a strength, and if Kurt were to stay there forever, it may not be good for him. She had no idea that Kurt was a good man, just went off his looks. All peoples should have their own homeland, but only allowed to visit other ethnicities for the short term, not be given "citizenship." Let the best ethnicity win, in advancement. Artificially meshing ethnicities together creates discord and distrust.

Your comment inspires me just as much as Kurt does. I’m 29 and live a very similar life to him but feel like such an outsider because I don’t prescribe to the lifestyle above. I used to but severe depression gave me the case of fuck its or die and I’ve been itching to share my ethos because I feel like such an alien… I definitely am not a natural like Kurt, but I can bring up discussions of how to power through introversion, anxiety, depression, and preconceived notions…I’m just afraid if anyone would really relate. For me it’s important to see such beacons of hope, and I’m glad to see it would be for others. I’ll be sharing soon.

This is a place I would visit happily. I'd bring my guitar and share music, and bring gifts for the children, like crystal stones or something. Just a totally awesome human experience. I'm SO hungry for authentic people, it's not even funny. Keep letting your DNA guide you Kurt. My household watches your videos with a ton of respect and good humor. You're a beautiful soul, and we so appreciate you sharing your journey with all of us. KZbin with international travelers really proving to be quite popular. Wish you abundance, luck, blessings, protection, good health and if you ever wanna land somewhere in North America along the Canadian border, you're welcome to stay with us, off grid, on 20 acres of pure forest land in the beautiful green state of Washington. Sending love to ya. This was a BEAUTIFUL episode. Be well. Namaste.

This video melts my heart. Really heart touching. It was like I was there travelling and she invited me for lunch. What a nice lady. What a serence place. I would gladly love to taste her cooked meals. Also I dont know if I am the only one out there who got teary eyed. Its like I would never get to see more of her again. And its true. I am a bit sad too. God bless Kurt and God bless her.

Dude your videos are awesome, I love the raw, uncut vlogging. You have inspired me to learn Spanish and hopefully do some traveling (perhaps not as bold) like you. Much respect for you to do this traveling all on your own. You are going to have so many incredible stories to tell your friends, relatives and kids! Looking forward to the next adventure!

I think he made the typical gringo mistake of confusing calor and caliente. We say “hot” for both temperature and food that is spicy but in Spanish they’re different things. I’ve made the same mistake though 😅

I loved watching Spanish conversation with Johanna. Being a Spanish learner myself I found “la pescada” very funny as it’s an incorrect use of article that I also used to say and make my Spanish teacher laugh. It’s actually el pescado 😀
