This actually happened for real. He later wrote the song but didn’t get it finished before the record was released. They just released it last week celebrating Ivan’s birthday and almost 4 years of sobriety. I was at the show when he said at the end that he celebrated 42 months.

Actually this song was an Itunes exclusive for American Capitalist album as a bonus song on original release. They only recently brought it back on their 2nd greatest hits album

Yes it's about Ivans life.. yes he died, the small hand holding his In the white light is his daughter bringing him back. Its a hard watch and use of been so hard for Ivan to film. Alot of his songs are about his life

He didn't leave the band. Zoltan (the one with the dreads) threatened to fire him if he didn't get sober. Kinda gave him the "do it or be gone" threat. Zo said it was literally a threat, he would never fire him, but he didn't know what else to do to get him to go. So, yes, he did go into rehab and get help (that's when Tommy Vext filled in for a few shows, since they already had live shows scheduled). The whole band is clean now, and they are better than ever! ❤❤

The headline on the newspaper about him saying his mom was dying is real. I was at that show here in MA when he came on stage and told everyone that. Needless to say they didn't finish performing. I don't remember if you reacted to it or not, but 5 Finger Death Punch made a song called "I Apologize" and it was about how his apology to all the great legends in the music industry who died due to some sort of addiction, him fighting his alcoholism and wanting to turn it around before he ends up joining them at a very young age.
