Hey Kurt thanks for the video! I was wondering how come LumisSpa is safe to use daily (even twice) when dermatologists say that mechanical exfoliation can be done once , max twice per week. Nuskin states in their website that Lumispa does exfoliate your skin. Doing it daily can result in over-exfoliation which sensitize and strip the skin which is not healthy at all, What is your opinion on that? Have you looked into it? I also wonder where exactly can I find those tests done by dermatologists? Thank you:)

Good question, it's partly because of the Dermatologist understanding of exfoliation that the Lumispa was created as a better way of cleaning the skin on a daily basis without damaging the skin. Because depending on the mechanism and surface used, exfoliating can be damaging or beneficial. If exfoliating was the only thing the Lumispa did then it could be an issue, but there's seven different things the Lumispa is doing in conjunction with the targeted treatment cleanser and silicone treatment head, which are all working together to provide a safe and effective daily treatment. That's why I've been using it daily for 4 and a half years now and my skin continues to improve. To read the clinicals, login to you NuSkin account on the website and go to the Library, you can find all the clinical data there. Or you can get the person who introduced you to NuSkin to send them to you :) If you don't have either of the above, then send me an email at kurtnuskin@gmail.com and I can help you out.

Hello again, I commented another video (binging whilst waiting for my device to come). I am VERY nervous as I have problem skin. I have been religiously using tropic skincare. I don’t know if you know this brand but it has cleanser, moisturiser and toner as well as treatment oils. I really want to keep using this whilst using the lumispa but I’m struggling to work out how and wondered if you could advice. Idea one was to use the tropic cleanser on its own before the lumispa if I’m wearing makeup, then use the lumispa as a double cleanse after and then continue with my usual routine of toning etc. Option two was to use lumispa and to then cleanse again using tropic (but I’m worried this will remove any good work the lumispa has just done). Would you be able to advise?

Welcome back 😄 I don't know this skincare range, but I suggest option 1. You are likely to be surprised by what the Lumispa cleans from the skin, even after it has technically been "cleansed" already with a different product. Did you buy it as a retail customer? Because you should be covered by the customer guarantee (depending on the country) that means if you have some concern you can change the product or get a refund. That should put you at ease. Enjoy!

Is it really safe to use it twice daily?
@KurtProvost3 жыл бұрын
Yes as long as you are using enough of the treatment cleanser. If you have dry/sensitive/aged skin, I recommend using it once a day, increase it if/when you feel comfortable.

Oh so you have to use that particular face wash with the Lumispa and no other face wash, no matter what, will do. What a scam. You can say that with a straight face, 🙄. The Lumispa gets to make more money because God knows you can only use THEIR face wash. GTFO of here. Lol! There’s a sucker born every minute. 😂

I'm just curious, do you own a Lumispa, or have you had a demonstration of it on your skin yet? It's quite simple, NuSkin products have performance guarantees, meaning they guarantee a certain result from their products. They can do this because they have conducted extensive clinical testing with the products specifically designed for the devices. If you choose to use some other product with the device that has not been tested, that is your choice, after all, it's your face you're experimenting with. But you forfeit any right to make a negative claim against the product or company for the consequences of your actions. Prior to the launch of the Lumispa, NuSkin already had 5 different cleansers. They would not go to the trouble of investing millions to create new cleansers, if those initial cleansers were compatible/adequate for the Lumispa. As I explained in the video, the cleansers are designed with a specific viscosity and consistency, specific active and supporting ingredients, if you believe you understand those things better than the scientists who formulated them, then go for it, no one is holding your arms behind your back.
