I lost my Mother in 1999. 25 years later, it still hurts, but I know that we'll be together again for eternity, so I very much look forward to that reunion! Sorry for your loss. One question.... what's the proper placement for the goose neck ball in relationship to the rear axle? And why. (I thought it should be a little forward so the front axle carries some of the weight... ) Just trying to learn. Bumper is looking good. Why didn't you drill some big holes in it? It would be a great "whistle"!!

Thanks you! The ball should be 2 or 3 inches in front of the center of the rear axle. If for some reason there is clearance problem you can slide it back as far as center of the rear axle but never behind. As for holes I don't think they would work with the lights I want

There are semi truck drop axle fenders available with a 32" radius.

No the frame is doubled up in that area so it is a 1/2 inch thick.

I'm sure you're already done with the Fenders by the time you see this, but why couldn't you roll something like a piece of 2-in exhaust pipe then cut it to make the corners and simply roll sheet metal into that to make your fenders the size you want
