Owners NEEDED Someone To Trim Four Small, NOT Heavily OVERGROWN Laurel Hedges

Came to a new Client to trim a sprawling Laurel hedge, which consisted of four hedges of different lengths and heights, the job took me three hours in conjunction with the cleanup, although it was quite hot. In between the work, the Owners were very kind and brought me Coffee so I could take a little break.

Another beautiful set of hedges! A little different this time with leaving all the tops and finishing until after all the sides had been completed. Your work is always so precise and you keep things so orderly as you work - it's very relaxing to watch (though less relaxing from your point of view 😂). Your clean up is always impeccable, but this time it was impossibly perfect. Not a trace to say you'd been there aside from the beautifully manicured hedges. Kind of the client to bring you a snack, too! With such a pretty yard and with the nice size of the hedges and the fact that they are mostly surrounded by hard surfaces to make cleanup easier, hopefully they will become repeat clients! 🌿💚🌿

Rhododendrons were introduced into the uk about 300 years ago from spain and Portugal. They were used on estates as ornamental plants and as cover for game birds. As a result they’ve become a huge problem in Scotland particularly, because they grow very thick and kill all the original plants. If they’re allowed to grow unchecked they can become a major problem and estates all over Scotland are now trying hard to get rid of them. When they flower they are very beautiful - they flower at this time of year for a relatively short period. They have large green leaves the rest of the year. Best handled with gloves as they can be poisonous.

Obviously you’ve never heard the expression “what’s the difference between a good haircut and a bad one, two weeks!” It’s the same principle when hedging give it a month or two it’ll be back to not noticing it, especially if it’s a healthy hedge. However he’s good.
