G'day Bec & Matt. Thanks for another excellent video. Have been to both Warung Norman and Ruchira Indian Food - had the same good experience you two enjoyed. Really keen to try Munchies on my next trip. The best Nasi Goreng I've ever eaten was at Warung Tujuh (located on Jalan Lebak Bene). I had the prawn one - the best five dollars I've ever spent.

Another comment sorry. We tried Warung Kak Rebo just like most Warung’s steak vegetables chips (terrible) Smiles Warung fantastic recommend (banana fritter and banana juice. Steak, chips vegetables terrible too. Sate Man Deny ❤Love this place and vibe.

Usually good but saying that we won't Usually eat steaks in Bali as for us hard to beat our Aussie meat compared to Indonesia. We mainly stick to chicken and pork. Thanks Ian, aud v nz is pretty simple , basically 10% dearer to Aud. We try and keep it simple , local currency, Aud and USD as just about every currency is pegged to the usd. Potentially might add euro but I gather most would know euro to the usd. Thanks for feedback, been noted.

100% , the moussaka was yum and delicious, we get a few naysayers say why you eating foreign food in Bali, we want to show tourist the options of eating in Bali, As alot of tourist will not try the local warungs, so we try and show both so people can be encouraged to try. Try the moussaka, you won't regret it. Thanks for feedback and price is decent for the quality.

We have experienced friends who are retired unlike us haha and they know what we are like as travellers and I asked do we go to candidasa or Amed. Candidasa they said, that's why we did the candidasa videos and not Amed. Hopefully one day get up there between work (real life stuff to pay the bills and limited holidays ) its on the radar when we can make time . We can't give you a honest opinion on that sorry. Candidasa loved it. It's away from the tourist strip of kuta,legian and those areas. Thanks for feedback.

We have stayed at Adi Jaya a few times, Do you mean Beras Merah? which is part of adi jaya. If so we tried it before KZbin channel started. It was nice, but there is alot of options around too. Thanks for feedback.

@@BecMattAdventures Yep Shinta was a secret hideaway but good you showcased them for business, they deserve it. Thats a shame the owner was Greek and had lived in Bali for 40yrs, really good food and service. I had a decent Pizza at Dolce Vita nearby there, the venue is ok, nothing flash, but the Pizza was good with a crusty base , not sure if it's changed so don't blame me if this one is a bum steer.

Matt is a experience rider , So no issues for us, Driving locally is easy as you rarely drive above 30km a hr due to traffic in Bali. Like anything if you drive defensive and don't be a idiot, Great way to get around the local area. See so many people doing the wrong things then you see those horror stories on TV, Do the right thing we say. Thanks for feedback.

These are not Warungs you are going these are tourist restos = fast food garbage, get into to local areas and get some real tasty local food at least 75% of what you are paying and taste real fresh cooked food in front of you.

We have eaten at Local Warungs over the years before we started this channel(local only) but reality is we have taken many people to Bali and they are not game enough to go there. So in these videos we try and show people some tourist local warungs to give them info for them to try them which leads to broaden their choice in food options. We want people to have a positive experience going to Bali and this is a nice entry level to try compared to eating at overpriced upmarket restaurants. (Usually full when we walk past them, Thinking what they are missing out on) Which we try and tell people these are so overrated. We take your point though and try and find a happy medium for people coming to Bali, So they can have a positive experience. Stay tuned coming up in 1 of our videos later we eat at a local warung but even explain it's wont be for a lot of people. Do you have a Warung for us that wee need to try , Let us know and we be sure to visit it. We appreciate the feedback.

@@BecMattAdventuresyes i get your point lot of folk still think they going get posioned eating in local warungs, but nowadays its differant as you will know as its cooked fresh in front of and although the buildings maybe look a bit rough (cough cough) the food is usally very tasty, its the Bintang that causes the bali belly etc, later when i got time i will send you a few good warungs you can try if you have time etc, enjoyed reading your post though keep up the good work.

Nasi campur,huge serve,20.000rp.2 good serves babi guling today 20.000rp.satay beef 20 sticks with kambing soup and rice,huge serve 30,000rp.matabak which is indonesian omlete,huge serve 18.000rp with nasi goreng from the cart next to it 20.000rp,dinner 38,000rp total.i can eat for less than 10 bucks a day 3 meals.go true local.

i would say 70% yes and 30% no, So always have some cash on you , From memory if you watch our food videos, A few places were Cash only, Sheppys in Legian, The Lokal in Legian and Warung Norman in Kuta were all cash only but most will take cards. Hope this helps. Thanks for feedback.

Everyones scared of the carts and true local eating places.guess what,if their are locals eating at these places its good.after 35 yeara plus in indonesia you know that indonesians love their food the best places are the little nasi campur,nasi padang.babi guling,etc,plus the small satay,bakso warungs.real indonesian food with real local people.not the tourist stuff they dish up for clueless tourists.
