Sweden (in control of ESC) isn't exactly a fan of Finnish language. If you don't know what i'm talking about, ask a Finnish person. I m not surprised at all that a song in Finnish will never win a Swedish competition and Finnish songs have always been looked down by the jury to the point that it's ridiculous. Käärijä didn't win because of this.

Its a good song and I like it a lot because this is so traditionally Finnish. Before the electric guitar became a thing many people were playing the accordion and its still a big part of our music culture (like the accordion playing competition "Golden Accordion"). My relatives also played it and i got used to its sound since i was a toddler. This had to be in Finnish language but it doesnt help it because lyrics are a big part of it.
