Greetings Earthlings! 🖖🏻 So I've had a few brilliant suggestions of more places in Brum i need to go fly drone over, Which is on my list of places to go next! But if there are any other viewers from elsewhere in the UK that can recommend any impressive Construction projects in their towns/cities.. Please drop it in the comments! And ill be sure to check them out 😃🇬🇧🚆

What a fantastic name for this new Tower block in the East Side of Birmingham, the name "Beorma" is the Anglo Saxon name of the tribe that first set up Bimingham near where the present day Bull Ring is, it was called Beormingaham or the Hamlet ( Ham) of the tribe of Beorma

In 1956 I was a choirboy from St Albans and sang many times there. Christmas time my father would go to the bullring to buy our Turkey for Xmas day. Great footage here cheers mate from Australia.🎄🍷🇦🇺🦘

Are you referring to St Martins Church?

@ I was in the choir at St Albans in Conybere street Highgate. The Organist and choir master was Roy Massy who became MBE. He has been organist at many cathedrals around the Uk.

Smithfield was the Birmingham Wholesale Markets built in the 1970s, and demolished before the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games. The Bull Ring Markets, Indoor and Rag Markets, the current buildings date to the early 2000s. Was all moved for the 2003 Bullring development. Better views of Beorma Quarter further south into Digbeth, or from Southside.

Looks good but I wish we would show a little bit more ambition and build taller like Manchester.
@FenixLens5 күн бұрын
@stevenhoughton1406 I believe we are making steady progress in that direction. However i was in Manny a few weeks ago and they are already miles ahead 😑

Developers have planned for huge towers in Birmingham for years now. The council always block anything above a certain height due to constant unrest by the public / other business....

@FenixLens4 күн бұрын
@shairsko9360 Check it out on Google bud, it's a bit long winded for me to explain here myself 😅🤣 But looks like a mix of accommodation, shopping and entertainment venues.. 2 billion quids worth! 👌
