Even going from having a brother to finding out that my brother always felt inside that she was my sister I had to figure out my new relationship with her. Whether we like it or not how we see men and women is not 100% the same for most people. If you honestly think it is bullshit that someone's relationship shifts when someone transitions then that is up to you but from my experience when the identity you think someone has totally changes it changes the relationship. That doesn't mean it has to change for the worse, in fact often in time the relationship improves because the person is being their true self but it is still an adjustment.

I can't understand how Caitlin thinks it's the responsibility of the children to keep in contact with her. Transition or not she is the parent, if I was in that situation there's no way I'll let weeks go by without seeing or talking to my kids, I'd be stopping by their house everyday, I'm not a fan of kris but I'm sure she wouldn't let that fly either and for her to try to guilt trip Khloe by saying 'I took you in for 23yrs' well.. I am not transphobic but if my Dad decided to become a woman....there is no way we would celebrate that...there is NO way I would ever use the pronoun "she" for my own Father. Bruce Jenner was very selfish and self centered to keep getting married and keep having children knowing he had this problem. His autogynephilia was why his first wife and second wife left him. He just kept dragging the secret into each new marriage. There is nothing brave about him....he has nothing now to be proud of. The children were forced, by being in the public eye, on a very successful "reality" show to immediately start using the pronound "she" while on camera when talking about their Dad...if they had not...the woke patrol would have cancelled them. I live in a medium sized college town in the USA....when my oldest daughter was in her last year of highschool, there were no transgendered students. Now, 11 years later, there are about 16 in a class of 300 or so. My daughter has a friend, the friend's Dad decided to become a lady during daughter's junior year of highschool. That ended her parents marriage and it was UTTER humiliation for the children. How could it not be? Both of her parents are super liberal, they are both Democrats so it's not just a "conservative" thing. Don't think for a minute that it was not utter humiliation for Bruces' kids. Money can't buy you protection from pain. The child here in our town was 18 when her Dad got the fake boobs and started wearing heels and dresses around town. His daughter's and ex-wife were not the type to wear dresses and heels around town unless going out to an event. It was absolutely bonkers for the family. She (the daughter I knew) went from being a happy kid on the outside to being depressed and worse. Finally a decision was made by the Grandmother (mother of the transgendered Father) that he/she should leave town and move back to the town he/she grew up in. This was such a relief for the kids. They didn't want to see and they really didn't want their friends to see their Dad like that. Two of the kids have gotten married and not invited their Father to the wedding. They never go see him or call. So when I heard old Dad here say, "nobody ever calls me to say Hello or check in to see how I'm doing, I just want to know why, is it something I did, is it because I transitioned"? If this wasn't being filmed for a reality show she would have told him the truth. In fact, all the K kids have said publically that as soon as Bruce moved from the house and made his announcement, he would only meet or talk with them with cameras rolling? For the younger girls, this is their biological Father, why do you think he would only meet and talk to them with cameras rolling? Because he didn't want to HEAR the truth and he knew with cameras rolling they would be forced to pretend that they were surprised but ACCEPTING. He knew they wouldn't say anything politically incorrect on their TV show because he knew how all that worked. So he was forcing all of them to continue to live "a lie"...which is what he himself has been doing most of his adult life. Selfish....so utterly self- absorbed. Anyone who feels sorry for the transgendered person or feels they are being treated unfairly....just look into the virtue system that Aristotle put forward. The same system was used by the Catholic church...in which all Christian churches are built upon. There are so many virtues that are disregarded on the Kardashion show and with their Dad (they still call him Dad). We know from personal experience and are taught at church that when you "blow-out or "tilt" a virtue....bad things start to happen in your life. Justice (another virtue) is often depicted by a scale. The scale is put into balance by God (or if you are an atheist by the Universe). When you become so self-centered and self-absorbed....when you think not about the feelings of others around you? Especially your own children, witness how that balences out. Yup....no phone calls or visits. We hear those on the left repeat the mantra that he or she "is living their best life" or being "their authentic self" these days.....I can 100% attest that our best life comes from living a virtuous life. When we try, God just puts all of our life and decisions into the proper place. All of us fall short of perfection of this, of course and must ask or return to prayer for guidance daily. Anyone with an ounce of logic and a pinch of virtue knows that a man who tries to become a woman will always be a cheap imitation. (Well several hundred thousands of dollars in surgery isn't cheap but you understand exactly). For a Kardashion reference....if given the choice would you rather have an authentic Hermes Birkin handbag or the cheap immitation. One is way more valuable than the other....the same is true for each of us. We are way more valuable when we embrace our authenic self. Rich or poor, black or white, male or female, we all suffer from life and we all experience joy. When we start dropping virtues we mess it all up. I'm a pro at that....don't get me wrong but we are each truely a divine miracle from God. We can polish ourselves up and make ourselves outstanding, beautiful and bright by practicing our virtues not by giving cash to a doctor who practices plastic surgery. So yeah Bruce....it was kind of something you did, if we were being honest (Another virtue).

It can be really painful losing someone you love in this situation. Its like the person is there but you know that things would not be the same anymore. The role that Bruce played in the family was integral. He was the only one who seems to be there for these kids when they are having problems, and it some ways her transitioning might just corrode that fatherly figure and role that she used to have. We have to remember of all the Kardashians I feel Khloe was the one who seemed to be the closest to Bruce, hence explaining why she was the one who is mostly affected negatively by Bruce's transition.

It is because it is as if Bruce died, and Caitlyn is a stranger to her. Caitlyn shoul accept all the traits Bruce had, not negate them. All she changed was her gender, there's no need for changing other things. Bruce obviously had issues that bothered him. First of all, they are discussed in entirely different sections of the DSM5 Transgenderism is known in the DSM5 by the name of Gender Dysphoria and Dissociative Identity Disorder( previously called multiple personality disorder). the DSM5 defines gender dysphoria: distress that accompanies the incongruence between one's experienced and expressed gender, and one's assigned or natal gender and extreme manifestation of dissociation is dissociative identity disorder, in which a person may exhibit several independent personalities, each unaware of the others.

You can’t see the difference because you don’t actually know anything about MPD, which by the way is called dissociate identity disorder. MPD has been discredited mostly for being misdiagnosed.
