Kris not only has to deal with Bruce being gone but also deal with Caitlyn saying all those years she was Bruce, she was unhappy and living a lie. How must that feel to Kris? They had a life and a marriage together.

Kris knew, they all knew. Caitlyn saying she was unhappy and living a lie, doesn’t mean she was unhappy with her life or her marriage. It means she was unhappy with herself that she couldn’t be who she wanted to be. Wouldn’t it have been cool if Caitlyn transitioned and Kris stuck by her and they stayed a family. Kris was too worried about her imagine. You can tell watching episodes of KUWTK, Bruce loved Kris and wanted to work on their marriage and you could see the pain and hurt in his eyes when she was mean to him or when they started sleeping in seperate rooms/different houses. Kris says so many times how Bruce is a great Dad, a great friend and partner and how she will always love Bruce Jenner. Well Caitlin Jenner is still around, she’s still Bruce just looks different and goes by another name. Her soul is still the same. I felt like Kris and Bruce had a great bond and chemistry. They were so funny. Makes me so sad they haven’t kept their friendship at least.

I think people are being too harsh to the Kardashians. Kris, as greedy and selfish as she is, is still a human. Bruce was her husband for 20+ years and the father of her 2 children. Who wouldn't be sad if your partner for 20+ years changed his/her gender and went around the media saying Caitlyn is so much happier than Bruce? It's like a huge slap to Kris. What are those years that they spent together means to him? She also doesn't have the time grief because the media will label her as a bad person if she doesn't support Caitlyn's "courage". Also, imagine how Kendall and Kylie felt. In their young lives many things has changed in their lives. Their family shoot to stardom, they're being followed by the paparazzi everywhere, their parents got a divorce, and their father became a new person. It's not easy to swallow those things. I'm happy for Caitlyn coz everyone deserves to be happy, but it's completely normal for Kris to be upset. If I were her I'd ignore Caitlyn as much as possible.

I watched the show probably 10 years ago. I haven't for more 6 years.. and seriously, I really thought that Kris and those 3 sisters never showed respect to Bruce as much as they should have. He was supposed to be the father figure of the family but it seems like the men in the family are always being drag behind by the women of the family and for some reason, I do think it puts a toll on Bruce. Kris was ambitious in crafting the family image she desired. She has reached enormous, unimaginable success that is a surreal dream for most. Unfortunately, some of the best life has to offer comes with a significant price. In her case, it's her public grief. From what I've read, Kris was aware that Bruce was out of place as a male, that he crossdressed but she had her perfectly crafted family served on a platter that the public ate up. I believe Bruce when he said Kris was fully aware of his plans. It's easy to deny something we don't want to believe and now, it's like BOOM, in your face for Kris.

It is weird how it's like that though. In real life and even on TV, I've always met or been introduced to the trans person as the person they want to be. Caitlin is the first person I've ever in my life seen or even (kind of) knew the former version of. While I'm proud of Caitlyn for being her true self, I have to be honest, Bruce Jenner was my favorite one on keeping up with the Kardashians and a little while after he transitioned to Caitlyn, I quit watching. I did try to give her a chance, but she's SO different. She is NOTHING like her former self, so I don't blame any of them for feeling like Bruce has died. I'm sorry but the fact is that, Caitlin and Bruce have completely different personalities.

It's so easy for people to say that. It's a very complicated issue and definitely nowhere near how simply you people are trying to make it sound. I am sure that Bruce did not intend to transition when he married Kris. He didn't do this to hurt her. Now however I do agree that he's been really insensitive after the fact and not really been taking any of the family members into consideration after he transitioned especially Kris's feelings. Not that I agree with the transition but at what point was the right point for Bruce to transition? Based on the information, Kris knew that Bruce was interested in gender reassignment. Some of the early photos of them TOGETHER would suggest as much. He was married to her for 24 years and did not complete his transition until AFTER they were divorced. They had two children together, so during the marriage wouldn't have been the appropriate time. I don't see any other point in his life where he could've fit in this process. Furthermore, there was a greater stigma than there is now on these matters when he was younger. Therefore doing it at 25 wasn't much of an option for him.

I liked the show years back, but it seemed they were becoming too artificial, kind of like the Adams Family of rich people. But Kris seemed to be the most real and probably a very nice person. I believe she is the backbone of all her children's success; Kris has to me earned her place of respect, not sure about some of the kids. They to me are too self absorbed and phony and cannot bare to watch them anymore. I do however feel for and wish the best for Kris, she is an amazing women. I know I don't know them personally and the media has a way of portraying things, but you can easily fake emotions for entertainment sake. Kris seems like she's genuinely hurting though. I try to be empathetic to others, put myself in their shoes & to me it would be like mourning a loss of someone you loved, married, had kids & built a life with. I understand trans people go through their own personal process but all the people in your life have to go through a process as well. I would feel betrayed & almost like our life together was fraud in someway. So I totally understand her pain. I try to understand the other side as well.

Kris is crying about Bruce not being around anymore but when he was around she couldn't even let him have a corner in the garage when they lived in that MANSION? She literally couldn't wait for him to leave the house and the way the show manipulated the situation to make it seem like Bruce was the one who wanted to leave lol. It's all meant to manipulate the audience and make Kris look like the victim and as a good person because this is what BRUCE wants not her. Obviously, bruce later ended up wanting to be apart because of how Kris treated him along with his potential plans of transitioning.

Kim really needs to realize that her mom is essentially grieving right now. I don't usually keep up with the Kardashians so to speak but this made me really sad. I don't care if this is false emotion just for show. I've seen numerous clips of Kim telling her mom to "not cry," or "just let go." It's not that easy, Kim. Kris is grieving both a relationship and the death of a person (basically). I know this show is sometimes over-dramatized for the sake of views and such but frankly, I don't think that it has really set in for Kim as to what actually happened. I think she blindly supported him without fully understanding what it meant. It makes me sad that this family isn't allowed to show that they are most likely hurting and probably a little freaked out by the whole ordeal but all that matters is popular opinion and there would be hell to pay if they showed any hints of not supporting him. It's horrible.

I know this is not the same but I can only imagine what Kris felt. My ex husband never gave me an explanation as to why he wanted to end our marriage. Pretty much his excuses were that everything was my fault and later I found out through other people that he was gay. Until this day he has not told me that but he has since moved on and lives with his boyfriend now. It’s heartbreaking to see that the person you were in love with is someone completely different than who you first married. And the worst part is that you question yourself and beat yourself up by saying “why did I get married?” And then to top it off they later make themselves the victim and turn people against you and make you out to seem like the bad guy
