@ obviously she wasn't going to be a saint with him, every time she let her guard down he went back to his old ways, if their relationship worked "work" for so long it was because of her, she could be as annoying as she is but it was him who even 2 years ago saying that Kourt was the love of his life. He wanted to break up and he said he would change, that he would improve and used the children to get her back, in the end the relationship just didn't work out due to his lack of commitment. For years on the show, you could see Kourt close to a nervous breakdown trying to help Scott, but it's easier to blame her for the relationship going downhill than for Scott to commit.

He didn't try, she tried, every time he ended up in a nightclub drinking or using drugs, literally one of the reasons I ended it years before was that he had a commitment to Mason, he said he couldn't because he had work 8 hours later when he showed up in Miami with a random girl kissing by a pool, scott's problem is that he's not consistent, and that's what she always wanted from him. He says he loves her and wants to try but it takes a random girl on his ex's family trip that he's trying to get back
