I got initiated and abused by many many traditional healers but i still pushed to be the best at home and school and in between I had to work. Not once did anyone say "take a breather momma, look at what you've done, you've achieved sooo much, well done, take a moment and be grateful for what you have now.".... it's always on to the next thing, next project, next assignment, next, next, next, next.
