I think it would be more impactful if most of his crew abandon him when he fails to get the one piece. The 5 members he recruited in Impel Down are the ones who don't actually show to be following BB cause of his ideologies and dreams. Urouge may stay with him at the end if he voluntarily joined when they met.

Obviously Blackbeard doesn’t trust Kuzan fully, and ive always viewed him as “working with” them, so not technically apart of the crew. This is just speculation, but it’s been theorized also that part of the reason why we haven’t seen the 10th captain is because they might spoil a potential future Straw Hat. Bonnie seems like she’s on her way to potentially become a member of the crew in the near future, and with that in mind Urouge actually feels like a fitting opponent for her in multiple ways.

I think Urouge is the Judas of BB’s crew. Judas was said to have Red Hair, and U.Rouge can be interpreted to Red Hare, which is clearly a homophone. So off the back of the history of the real life inspiration for Urouge, perhaps there will be an inversion to what that person did IRL 🤷🏾‍♂️ just a thought 🤔

This was a very good video, I love all the evidence of him getting recruited by Blackbeard. I'm wondering about something though... If Urouge left Sky Island before Luffy got there(pre time skip), what was he doing up there with Kaido when Kaido was all suicidal when Doffy got defeated(post time skip)? A couple of flaws I noticed, (please dont take this personally), 1) There are not 10 figures on that boat, I checked both viz online and my paperbacks and due to the distance the scene is drawn at, you can only see 4 figures, but you could potentially argue 5 at most. I will take this back if you can prove I am legally blind. 2)The Blackbeard pirates are not "average sized", every single member is AT LEAST 11ft tall, even if you dont include San Juan Wolf, Vasco Shot is almost 19ft tall. and absolutely none of them have ever been shown to be average on panel either, discounting obvious moments where the panel size and layout dictates how they are shown in said panels, which are mere arbitrary inconsistencies. It's a good theory nontheless, I have always been a huge supporter of Urouge being the Tenth Captain, I just couldn't go without pointing these out. This is in no way shape or form a personal attack, I want you to take this as constructive criticism.

Great Ideas! The only thing that i'm thinking that might prove otherwise is that so far what we've seen of Urouges DF is very similar to the function that Burgess' new buff buff no mi DF has, and knowing Oda, I don't think that he would just pass up an opportunity like this to have a new crazy character with another outlandish DF. Blackbeard is surrounding himself powerful DFs and they all encompass completely different tasks on his crew. If anything its getting me to wonder If Urouge wasn't just actually killed by Blackbeard and his crew and that Burgess got his fruit because of how similar it is.

Interesting. There is a theory that Stussy is the 10th and would fight Robin. It lists similarities between the two like Stussy's succubus devil fruit and Robin's Demonio ability. However, a "Devil Child" vs. a "Fallen Monk" seems like an interesting idea. Plus, while I like the idea of Stussy vs Robin, Stussy is definitely too attractive to seem to fit with the Blackbeard Pirates. It would be odd for Oda to make all of the Titanic Captains menacing or outright ugly except for one.
