We rode Tiana's Bayou Adventure and there are some important things you NEED to know before riding this attraction for yourself. This ride takes place AFTER the first movie, so there is an all new story and setting that you'll want to know about to make sure you catch all the details in the queue and attraction. We are diving deep into that backstory, telling you our best tips and tricks for riding this attraction when it officially opens on June 28th, and of course giving you our POV of the attraction itself! This is cool!! The animatronics are awesome. The layout/vibe is so similar to Sinbad’s journey at Disney Sea! The big group of singing characters at the end is almost exactly the same. That was one of our favorite rides in Japan 🤣🤣 I like the details and story of it

Thank you for pointing out the diversity part and for giving some of the backstory!! And for being honest about the good and the bad. I’ve seen so many people bashing the ride before they’ve even road it. I think kids will love it and I agree with you when you said it doesn’t have to be scary!

Tbh, we finally watched Disney’s POV that they put out and I 100% understand why people are hating on it… it was an AWFUL recording of that ride and it portrays absolutely nothing like what the ride actually is like 🙈🙈 This ride is going to be such an important piece of Disney history and we are so excited for it to finally open!

I had someone comment on my tiktok that said “the ride has its flaws, but the rest is flawless” and I feel like that describes it perfectly! There really isn’t anything like seeing it in person though

I have been watching all of your videos and they have been so incredibly helpful. Coming down on the 28th to do Tiana. We will not be getting there till 4ish (travel day) Would you suggest getting Skipper to book Tiana‘s for anytime at 7 then try to modify to evening? Surely it will go quick. Or should I just have SS search only evening for my 7am search? Help 😮

Since you know you won’t be there till later, I would set your search for evening for your 7am search! I might take a minute or so to snag since it has to wait till return times are available that late, but set it and give it time. 😁

What is the hand hold cell phone mount you use to take your videos?

We don’t use a mount for our phones! We just have a pop socket and hold it. lol We primarily film our videos with the DJI Osmo Pocket 3 and just use our phone for specific clips (like going down big drops so that our DJI doesn't get wet or when we want multiple POV's)

It’s just a pop socket! I don’t use a stabilizer or holder or tripod or anything for my phone. I have a strap, but that’s just cause I don’t have pockets 😅 our DJI Osmo pocket 3 is a totally separate camera all on its own!

This ride looks terrible compared to Splash Mountain. Nonsensical story, way fewer animatronics, and way more dead space. I'm not interested. RIP Splash Mountain, you died for absolutely nothing.

Splash was a great ride, but If you haven’t ridden it in person, then calling it terrible is an exaggeration. Is it different? Yes. Is it perfect? No. But anyone who actually rides this attraction is going to love it and it is SO much better for families with young kiddos who may have been scared to ride before! AND the way this honors the black community is so much better than splash could ever have done! PLUS not only did we get to add a beloved IP, but we also got an original story to go along with it that people always complain we never get with IP-centric attractions. (Ps, if you aren’t interested, great! That means the line will be shorter!) 🤷🏼‍♀️
