Er war in Russland immer ein überirdischer Spieler. Jedoch spielte er nicht nur in einer wesentlich schlechtenen Mannschaft, sondern in einer sehr schlechten Fussballliga. In einer schlechten Liga die Form nicht zu verlieren, immer ein besonderer Spieler zu sein und nicht nach unten auf das Liganiveau gerissen zu werden, ist nicht einfach.
