I think Trigun Stampede narrowly outdoes the original. The remake cut out the filler, and the animation is not only gorgeous but lends itself to the genre of space westerns. Plus the reason we are here: the OP is fantastic.

The original became more "we have to start from scratch." The easiest way to enjoy Trigun Stampede is to simply see it as its own unique thing. BOTH are amazing shows. I watch the original and the new show side by side and I love it. Why it's so good? In my humble opinion, it's because Vash is an amazing character. This song really describes his personality and I love it for that!

I still see ppl who look the old show and sometimes is sad, they just dont give a chance to the new reboot. In the other hand, there is still ppl who look the old one and find this one good ^^. Like u say, its better just to see two different shows from the same origin, they are different and have great things like other than are not that good. The only thing i dont particulary enjoy of this one (i dont see the old) is... well, the fights? LOL but it have it all, i really like it the first 3-4 chapters, but after that to me that type of animation is just eyecandy... i dont feel tension anymore with that, i see it, and i know its just the animator flexing their skills JAJAJAJA. I really have the same feeling with the cliffhangers, after a while of using it, u start to hate it. If they just varity a bit more how they show fights i really might be considered a 10/10, but 9/10 for a picky person like me is still good (for me, its a personal score, i dont want to compare series in general ^^)

I don't really feel that way about Trigun, since I only watched it when it came on Netflix in my country. I can't speak for other people, so this is just my opinion on this. In regard to the fights, I like them more in this one! There are great scenes in the original too, but I like how dynamic the shots are. Eyecandy, sure, but I like that kind of animation xD

@@yasumi402 I finish the manga today... mmm, i dont know... normally its too hard to read one manga? i never have problems, maybe with tokyo ghoul, but Trigun is hard to understand honestly. Still, the strong point is the lore, and the characters. I really feel emotional with Wolfwood at some point, and of course, with Vash and the hard choices. Only for the hard time reading the manga, i preffer the anime and the remake, there i can enjoy fights bcs with the panels honestly i cant follow 😢

Definitely my favorite opening of the Winter 2023 Anime season. This incarnation of Vash is a lot more solemn and sorrowful from the get-go, which might not be everyone's cup of tea, especially with how it contrasts with the old, more often goofier Vash, but this opening definitely does a fantastic job of accentuating his personality and the mood of disaster that follows in his wake. I'm glad we got a new take on Trigun with Stampede, it's a gorgeous show that anybody should at least give a shot.

I knew nothing about Trigun aside from Vash and how he's upbeat and goofy but also cool and it seemed like a fun adventure type of story... I saw that Stampede had faster pacing and had VAs I liked so I watched it and dang... The emotional damage... Trigun and Trigun Stampede is beautiful.

I've watched both the original [1998 trigun] and the remake [2023 Trigun stampede] and damn, they were both amazing! This song matches Vash's personality well if you think about it, probably my #1 most favorite anime openings.

I think it's also bcs of thosw reviews online. Especially from old fans who said "the show is not worth it." As someone who has knows trigun for it's legends even tho i never watch it. I came to trigun stampede blind, with minimum knowledge of the show. I can completely say it is more than worth it, and the show will cultivate new fans for sure. If people come in blind like i do, they sure are in for a wild ride in the show. It's really said people would sh1t on the show just bcs it's a remake. They need to get off from glorifying the old version and give STAMPEDE a chance, and people also need a sip of this series bcs they are missing out.

I think one of the reasons is the many complaints from fans of the original. Episode 1 on crunchyroll is mostly filled with negative comments from them. I don't know anything about the original so I'm enjoying this one. Plus the animation. Many people hate 3d but this one's really good.

I'm really glad I gave this show a chance, it and its music have been wonderful so far. And although this song is a very different style from the old I think it really fits. I'm glad I got introduced to Kvi baba because of it! This song just hits the spot, especially the lyrics 命がけで守るものもなく すがる過去の⺟親の愛情と and the instruments going with it at 1:28 sounds sooooo good. The music videos is wonderfully done, great job from the animation staff! Love the overlay of real images and paint long with flashing the characters names and tidbits about them.

The opening to Cowboy Bebop is so cool and I really enjoy it, but this strikes deeper and is my new favorite. It has a depth of emotion perfect for Trigun. Never skip the opening credits while this is playing.
