That was the first FM Top 40 station I listened to when I was 11 years old. I would love to hear airchecks and music during that time if they could found.

wow i do actually remember both am and fm around 1979 1980 mom left it on the am one for me late at night thank you for the rare find Ellis very amazing and awesomes.

If I heard these without having read the description (like if I had listened to this station in 1976), I'd think they were singing "VFM, KVI", because why would anyone sing "Theeee FM"? Weird and ambiguous imaging, and totally unsuited to a top-40 format...though at about :40 one of them starts out like a "Hot Hits" jingle that was frequently used on that format. I had to stop listening when the ones with the string intros came on...very annoying atonality to them. Not TM's best work.

Sorry, but these made my ears hurt. Can't imagine these for a CHR, there's just no punch...like someone said below, a better fit for MOR or EZ.
