Does it feel like a spot light, or does it light up the room in all directions? We have a small L shaped room. We'd like our ceiling fan to be bright enough to be the only light in the room if needed.

I just installed same fan today (not RGB, just white ring) and the light is not spotlight! My office is nicely lit and brighter than the old ceiling light fixture that I removed. Make sure when you install it that you have a strong enough electrical box to hold the fan. Luckily my ceiling light was attached to a metal electrical box and looks like it was directly bolted to a wood beam as I couldn’t shake it at all so I mounted the fan mounting plate directly to it. Also the phone app he shows in this video does not work! Instead there is another app called AC FanLamp. This one works well. The fan control (speed) does not really work but there are two buttons that will turn on the fan. The buttons have wind like drawing on them.

As answered wall switch is your main power source, so some fans will reset some may not it is possible have to check a fan

Hi! I just purchased the same fan, but I have a double switch. One for the fan and one for the light. Would you know how I can wire both parts separately? Is it possible?

If I were to do te light alone I separate the leads for the light and then the Remote will not run the lights,

Just use one switch. My office has two switches too but I used one switch and the wire for the other switch I put one of those twist nuts on it. You can do that or wrap it with electric tape. If you want to split the functionality on the fan then you’ll have to take the fan electronic box apart and run a feed for each circuitry and probably will not be that easy and probably impossible because I assume the fan box has one AC to DC inverter and that supplies the power to both fan motor and fan lights. So that means you have to get your own inverter and connect it to the second switch wire then run the DC feed out of that second inverter to the fan lights directly.

@@GrindMyGears thank you for the advice also given, I agree to keep to one switch if need be I can. Makes video on how to do one,. The Fanswe buy at Home Depot by Hampton bat with actual bulbs are easier to do.

Awesome question, it is a 38 inch fan, I say somewhere about 15inches, of th actual blade sorry I can not answer with a direct measurement today hope that may help out

I find most the diode type leds do a good Job they are not holigon, or cob they limit a throw I guess.

Thanks for your help. I'm having trouble connecting to Bluetooth. Can you send me step by step instructions. For example entering the device, where,what device, etc. Plus I don't have the scan code but was able to download the fan app.

You say "we have an area of interest on both side" was I suppose to plug the white wire into one of them to get the Bluetooth working?
