Kvinesdal Emigrant festival is an annual festival that marks the Norwegian emigration to the United States from Norway which occurred in the late 1800s and early 1900s . The festival is held every summer by Southern emigration in Kvinesdal in late June and early July. The first Emigrant was organized in 1989 by the association Viking Lodge in cooperation with Kvinesdal Municipality.
