As a science journalist, that quote from Rob Bakker is so problematic. Attenborough, at his best, is an advocate, an icon, or a communicator more broadly but he IS NOT a journalist. Bakker may have misspoken but I wish KV had paraphrased that direct quote to make it more accurate. Attenborough had never once actually done journalism which involves FAR more than just talking or interviewing someone. He doesn’t have to find his credible sources, he doesn’t have to structure or research interviews, or fact-check anything, or produce or edit. He narrates a script that someone ELSE writes so that writer would be more of a journalist. End of rant 😅
