Kris, I have been listening to you and Bill for a little while. Sometimes 2-3 times a day. Sometimes a message 2-5 times. This is not a message of some past story of mine. I am so over them, so much so, that I only want to keep a collection in my mind of the scripture moments just because God has been faithful. It's not a journey of where we have come from, but more so into the deep of God's heart and it is a very nervous walk. Like, am I supposed to be in here? Consecration really really matters. We will meet one day, so I can simply say thank you for being candid, loving God as much as I do and ultimately saying thank you together to God for His sovereignty, providence, faithfulness, holiness. At 16:54 - Exodus 16:1 - "all the congregations journeyed by stages" - what Bible version is this? There is no "stages" in the NIV, ESV and AMP...?

I believe he meant to say Exodus 17:1 .... the NASB and ESV use the phrase "by stages".

Yes, it is 17.1. CJB also translated this way ("The whole community of the people of Isra’el left the Seen Desert, traveling in stages, as Adonai had ordered").

I didn't notice it when he said it but after reading your comment decided to look it up. In the VOICE translation, Exodus 17:1 does say, they traveled in stages just as God (the Eternal) instructed.

No he was replaced. Bible records it as Matthias as the replacement of Judas

I love Pstr Kris. BUT I would caution him to not speak assumptions as if they are biblical truths. Just say it's your assumption. The Bible doesn't say who the elders are. - 31:33
