I have seen photos of your shop and remember seeing a German direction finding radio that was typically mounted in panel vans. Amazingly low bandwidth in the input filters, only around 200kHz wide for 6dB down! Should give a nearly "bomb-proof" front-end. Would be nice to have one of these, but too big, too heavy!
