Bless you for this. I am a TKD veteran, black belt over 20 years ago. Life got in the way for a long time but I'm starting back up, just at home for now. I dusted off my old board breaking trophy and I'm literally inspiring myself. I'm so glad to find you to help me remember my hyungs. I know the ITF has a different name for them, but I learned traditional style. I still remember Chon Ji and Do San and I'm starting with the lower forms, with intent to progress at the pace of my improving fitness. Anyway I'm sure this comment isn't super exciting but it helps me get even more motivated if I share. Again thank you so much! 🥋❤️🔥🙏🏻

Nicely done. Timing of technique explosiveness reminds me of Karate on how they do kime.

Personally, I would like to see the walking stances with more definition, the pressing kick with a slight bend as it's performed otherwise looks very good

if i am not mistaken i spotted one mistake the dubbleforearm guarding block after the sitting stance back fist comes off the rear leg please correct me if i am wrong but i thnk i am correct
@lindseykapanak13315 жыл бұрын
Sean Speer the first time it comes off the front leg but rear leg for the second time. It took me forever to get that right.
@tomvoller50985 жыл бұрын
Yeah the first is off the front the second is off the back

It's one of three tuls for grading to 2nd dan
@omidsakhi65993 жыл бұрын
I like the performance but one of the TUL conditions is the TUL ended to ( Start Point ) but often your TULs doesn’t finish to Start Point . This is big mistake ( see your all TULs ) my friend notice in future , I like your actions
@timf86502 жыл бұрын
Note that not every tul in taekwon do was perfectly designed, some of them it is physically impossible to end on the start position so the requirement is to end within one shoulder width away from the starting point.

Move 16 and 20 should be a hammer fist not a back fist.

Black belt form is more complex. It is built on all the previous forms from the color belts. So it can take a while 😅

Very2 nice but don’t forget to put the “sine wave”
@bgaona Жыл бұрын
The sine wave is not universally adopted by all Taekwondo practitioners. It can be pretty controversial!

@@bgaona What are you saying? The sine wave is in all divisions of the ITF, appearing in volume 4 of the encyclopedia.
@bgaona9 ай бұрын
@@-excas-8053 but the ITF isn't the only existing practice of TKD. My own school didn't take an official position on sine wave, but it was clear that the Grandmaster preferred his form without. I also discouraged it when I taught in my club and later in a different dojang.
