Hi I just recently found you. I had tried to find you a few months ago because I saw something in a scrapbook store someone made. But they could not give any info other than the it was inspired by "Kathy By Design". Any how, glad I found ALL your wonderful videos. I have already spent most of my day watching you make beautiful projects. I did have a question though, you said you needed 6 pieces of 8 1/2 by 11 card stock but you only used 2 maybe 3 at the most. Did I miss something? What happened to the other card stock. Thanks so much for all your hard work and time!
@kathyclementkathybydesign4 жыл бұрын
Wow, it's been years since I made this, and I no longer have it here as I gifted it. The extra pieces might have been used as photo mounts,matting or flip elements within the project. Or, I might just have goofed when I was talking and working at the same time. Sometimes that happens, too! LOL So glad you are enjoying the channel and thanks for your kind words. I love your story of how you found me! Thanks for sharing that with me!

Rochelle - I too wondered where the sheets were used too. But, seeing so many crafters, they do love the flip outs. So maybe instead of using the design paper to make that flip out, use the cardstock then cover. Enjoy the craft.

I loved your tutorial! I think I might hace missed it, can you share the name of the glue you are using?
@kathyclementkathybydesign7 жыл бұрын
María del Carmen Martínez Vicenté thanks so much! The glue I use is Art Institute Dries Clear Adhesive. Be sure to order the precision tip as it gives you great control.

What is the weight size of your base pages? Do you have a problem with tearing?
@kathyclementkathybydesign6 жыл бұрын
I typically use 100# to 110# paper for these folio bases, and I have not had any trouble with tearing. Happy Crafting!
