I noticed that EVERY black countries that was colonised by English people call potato Irish potato. ALL POTATO originate from SOUTH AMERICA and was brought to England and Ireland by Sir Walter Raleigh in 1584. Before he did so, there was no potato available in England or the WHOLE OF EUROPE for that matter. Therefore, to call potato Irish potato is not only incorrect, it is also an insult to the Native South American and North Americans who gave them to the English people as a food source.
