I expected na madami akong matututunan dito pero hindi ko inexpect na an almost-an hour long podcast could make this significant change in how I view myself and my family, how we have a fair share of our own toxicities, and how it's not-so impossible to overcome them and create a better relationship with them through humility. Now that I've heard all of these things that felt like a wake up call to me, all I hope now is for myself to be able to really apply them and put them into action. Really, thank you for this podcast, The Juans. And thank you Kuya Jik for sharing us your wisdom as well. May we grow together through this podcast!

It's a long process a really long one umulit ako mula first step mg enrollment but this time on Bsba major in HRDM na course na kukuhain ko. And next school year mag 3rd yr college student na'ko and nag eexcel ako sa course na ito kasi alam kong eto talaga gusto ko. :))

It's just recently when I found out about this band "The Juans", buong akala ko ay kumakanta lamang, nagsusulat at nagpapasikat ng ilang mga tugtugin. Yung "hindi tayo pwede" ang alam ko lang talaga na kinanta nila pero na curious talaga ako after watching one of their ep in "kwentoJuan", I was so amazed and surprised dahil dati hindi ko pinapansin ang banda na ito, little did I know that they also have this kind of platform na nagbibigay aral at pag-asa sa mga tao who feel loss, I cannot deny how great hearing Carl in almost of their guestings and talks in their yt channel like wooow!!! those words of wisdom really hit me and this is something that everyjuan should watch out for. 19:20 dito talaga ako humanga ng sobra. God bless The Juans.

Truly inspiring...I've picking up a lot of "hugot" from these conversations. Do not let your j"ob description" defines your persona. There are a lot of options, opportunities to explore as to where your true passion is. What is important is to know oneself. You have to remain humble and develop your character as a person...to live within good human values. Hope that more youths and adults should watch and listen to the wisdom of The Juan's and their guest Jericho.

Like, pag kinukumusta nila ako after my online classes, I tend to be irritated since stressed or wala na talaga ako sa mood makipag-usap pero now I realized na I should be happy for them doing that. I'm sorry, Mama and Tatay. I really don't regret meeting the Juan's this year through this platform. Lord has sending me so many people this year that will inspire me to continue. 😇 Thank you, Lord. EPISODE 2 of KwentoJuan, where "substance over status" was given more than justice. ☝️♥️ "Mere intelligence could cause you to be arrogant, but finding real wisdom could actually make you really humble."-JuanCarl Character over Intellect. Humility, forgiving, respect and love. I realized that sometimes we seem to see only what we wanted to see nga, somewhat see only what are wrongs, leads us to correcting other people even complaining about being toxic which by then making us one, too. In this generation, it's true nga na being so awoke about everything makes us more sensitive but limited, in effect, being anxious and depressed over everything we see, on social media and all. Now this makes us unaware of the things where we were really on, our own families, our own circles, those that are actually on our own reach, our character or values. Grabe yung konek. Relatable level 999. From being somewhat limited because of pleasing people to seeking perfections with other imperfect people as you are, then failing then complaining about it, losing considerations, even losing the idea of forgiving, and so lose humility, then honor oneself so lose respect then forget how to love. "Yes, sir!" sabi nga ni Kuya Jik. Yes, we need it all from someone above, baby!courtesy of Kuya Jik pa din. Grabi. More episode to coooome!!! ♥️☝️ The best, the Juans!

Kaya when I was a high school student , lagi ako nag cucutting or hindi umaattend sa ibang subject even though na active youth member na ako sa church namin same routine pa rin ako wala ako pinabago. Shookt! Wala ako naisagot at natameme lang ako. Oo nga noh. Ano nga ba ako after ng 10 years? . Thanks The Juans kasi na remind ulet ako 😀

I grew up without having the chance to hug, kiss and say I love you to my parents and family members. Thank you po! My realization is that, if I want to experience a better relationship with my family, I should make a way and do an effort to reach out to them. Also, prayer talaga the best, by asking love from Him, I will be able give and share that love to my fam.

Grabeee. I think i can relate dun sa sinabi ni Jericho about jobs ganern at sa sinabi din ni RJ. This have been a struggle for me to think about. Ako kasi..bata plng ako, dko iniisip ung what is my ambition ganern. Chill2x lng ako dati, enjoy buhay lng ganern. Tas nung papalapit na ako lumaki ganern, ung magge grade 6 na ako like that im starting to think myself. Sabing" halla, oo nga noh!" ganern. Natataranta na ako nun dati eh, kasi dmo alm kung ano gusto mo in the future. Highschool na ako and nagiisip namn na ako of what will i gonne be in the future. "kakayanin ko ba to?" Soo yun, im still suggesting myself but still wala padin eh. Negative thinker ko din kasi hmm.. kasi syempre you have 1 life ganern at dapat in the future ka happy ganern. Takot kasi ako ehh of what will happen to me in the future at takot din kasi ako magrisk at magdecide😅 Nageexel ako sa school. Matalino ako sa school yun ang sabi nila saken pero yun nga lng.. wala akong ambition..walang plano in the future ganern. Heto na ako ngayon, magsesenior high at nagiisip parin ako at syempre natataranta nadin kasi dahil dka pa sure para sa sarili mo. Naiisipan ko na magdodoctor nlng cguro ako. Madami nangyari samen at sa pamilya ko last yr and nung this January. May sakit kasi sya ganern. At yun parang napagisipan ko heto nlng. Para sa pamilya. That time na yan yung may pinagdadaanan kami, wala parin akong gusto..And now still been thinking and deciding kung heto na ba talaga? Doctor? So yun nga.. mahirap pag ganito. Just wanna let out my feelings. Nakakaproud ang the juans at si jericho, kasi grabe ehh. They are sharing what they feel at galing nyo kasi ganito ginagawa nyo. Thank u and Godbless senyo

It's always understanding the strength and struggles of different generations. Every generation is important kay Lord. In order na maintindihan natin yung older generations, we should go back sa history, sa inallow ni Lord sa time nila before and that's when we'll realize yung 'why' sila ganon. And same to our generation, older generations must also acknowledge bat nga ba tayo ganito. The more we understand each other, the more we'll be compassionate and loving to our own families and even sa hindi natin family.

What a great episode! Appreciate all of you! Just want to share I think too it's about being really intentional to become missional. If we believe that the Lord Jesus called us to preach the gospel, that means regardless of how they treat us, we will pursue them for the purpose that they hear about the gospel. Woah, a very wisdom-filled and refreshing podcast. I get to understand more how to work on the generational gap esp. in a context of family and to respect each other’s differences. A lot of take home re: humility and respect, thanks for this.
