You know what these writers do so well? They make you CARE about these characters in such a short period of time. It is actually mindblowing how they do that. I mean, the guy in Vow, Joey and his mum in Date, Ann, Paul and Jay in this. And that makes these twists so powerful. I admire these writers. You can see in the beginning up to the part before the "choosing" part, the girl is still wearing the bracelet, and in the part where she's sitting before the gravestone part, she's holding the hand of Paul, both of that means she's still holding on to him, she still hasn't moved on. But the part where she's talking to Jay in the "choosing" part, they show that she's no longer wearing the bracelet, indicating that she now decides to move on and take another shot at love again. That's really well presented. I love it.

Plot twist: Paul-Ann story and Jay-Ann story didn't happen on the same timeline. It's just Ann can't move on with Paul that's why he is holding back for Jay. And also that's why she is shocked when Jay asked her the same question he asked to Paul 4 years ago. Jollibee make us believe both are happening on the present. But it's all flashbacks for Paul. Genius 👍
