I was in a ldr as well. But I made a choice to see her as often as I can, every 6 mos. She was in the Phil and I was here in the states. That was 2009. 2021 now, we got married in 2011 and 2 little girls later. It’s a sacrifice and it’s dedication. I mean of course there are temptations but in the end it was her all along. Like anything it takes and forever I will date my wife and learn more each day. It’s possible, you just gotta put in the work and in the end it will be worth it.

yes ❤️in my case i was base in lebanon and his in the philippines i thought we were ok,our relationship is ok until he begin to lie and involve in drugs and of course with drugs there's a girl a lot of girls that can trade sex thru drugs., he started to go offline most of the time and i don't know where he is. then 3 days wala chat,1 week,2 weeks, 3 weeks. then i let go

Aww. I can relate to the 8 hr difference. My boyfriend is in England 🇬🇧 too and I am in the Philippines 🇵🇭 And yes that time difference is sometimes frustrating. Having a toxic and unhealthy relationship with my ex in the past, made it so hard for me to trust anyone ever again. I'm very honest with my present bf about the doubtfulness and paranoia that I am sometimes experiencing with our relationship. Although i know he might misinterpret it and would think that I don't have faith and trust with the relationship I have with him. But he is not giving up on us and he always reassures me of his love. My present boyfriend is an actor as well and he knows what I have been through. At times jealousy, paranoia and doubt would cloud my mind, and he will always be there to reassure me. However, there are times that out of his human nature, he would lose his patience on me and I can completely understand him. I want to make this relationship work out, we want this relationship to work out, that is why we have plans, plan of him coming here to study and to be with me, plan to travel after this pandemic, plan to realise our goals and dreams and plan of settling down. I literally searched for this ad when I saw it 'cause of how dumb the mindset in the beginning was. I'm in LDR and we're 3 years in our relationship on 28th. He is also my first and I want him to be my last. Our relationship was always ridiculed by people around us saying things like, "It will never last." "You don't know who they really are." "What if they're hiding secrets from you?" and things like that. People criticize something that they never experienced and someone whom they never met. It's a toxic mentality. Being in LDR taught me how to be more patient and understanding towards my partner. Loving someone isn't always about being physically together with them but being connected with them no matter where they are. We create a bond far stronger than anyone else's and surviving the odds is what makes our relationship even stronger. It's not about the distance, it's about the unwavering love you have for them. So relatable. Nov 2019 ko sinagot yung bf ko. Since new couple, we have alot of plans together. Syempre gusto namin magkasama all the time cause it's a fresh love, nandoon pa yung kilig, excitement and we are still getting to know each other more. But then lock down happened. Dito na test yung patience, understanding, tiwala sa isa't isa and syempre yung love namin. I'm just so lucky that we've been friends for 5 years and ang tagal naming hinintay ito. So, giving up was never an option. We always go back to the reason why we are committed. And that's because we love each other. Now, we try to meet twice a month. And I couldn't be more happier. One reason para di tuluyang sumuko but at the end of the day wala parin pala kasi sa huli sumuko rin siya. The song also fits my feelings cause everytime I take one step away I always find myself coming back to him but for now I will not. Not because I don't love him anymore but because I love him so much to the extent that I could give up my own happiness just for him to be genuinely happy. She had me in the first half. Im on an ldr relationship for almost 3yes without any single meetup(as in di pa nag kikita) plan namin sa 2020 but end up postponed since covid. Yeah ldr sucks but it's also beneficial foe couples. I mean, there's a longing effect in your relationship. Nandun yung urge na gusto nyo mag look forward everyday sa meetup nyo. May inaabangan kayo na mangyari. For me, in my own opinion mas madali para sa mga rs na nag simula sa ldr ang mag pathways. Mag meetup man sila and bumalik sa ldr. Mananatili ang longing effect dahil may mga plano ulit sila na mag kita. Still hoping na mameet ko na bf ko for almost 3yrs 😊❤️

Wow, finally. A love story that I can relate to. Last yr, 2020, was our last school year together sa iisang school. SHS kami so incoming freshman college. We are together in the same school since Grade 8th. Sabi namin, susulitin namin ang natitirang months para magenjoy at habang di pa malayo sa isa't isa. But then, Miss Rona happened. We never enjoyed it. Araw araw kaming magkasama sa loob ng 5 taon, tad di manlang namin nasulit yung natitirang months. This 'lockdown relationship' gave us so many challenges. Mentally and emotionally. Buti di pa kami break hehe

At first, I thought it was just a long-distance relationship problems. You can't be with her always. You just have Messenger as your means of communication. You can't reach and touch her. You can't do the things that you want to do with her. But when we lived in the same house, distance is no longer the problem. But it's her priorities. She exhausted so much of her time at work. She can barely bond with me. We barely go out but she gets the time to meet with her friends. I got so tired of explaining what I want. I got so tired of telling her to choose me over her work and friends. But, I guess she didn't really understand my sentiments that's why I had to let her go. Right now, I'm being consumed by my thoughts wondering why can't she see what I see? Why didn't she spend more time with me? Is it really hard to prioritize that people you love?

Hindi din ako naniniwala sa ldr before. But I am a fan of those people na ang tibay ng relasyon at nagpapakatatag tlaga ❤ since college kasi most of my classmates nasa LDR yung partners nila. Then years after my first relationship turns out to be an LDR , bago lang kami sa bagay na to lalo na ako.
