I really enjoy finding different ways to salvage projects when they don't really "go" the way you envision or as "planned" as you intended lol! Gorgeous card and clever save. Sometimes my cards end up looking quite a bit different from the way I first imagined them because of things like this. LOL. The black really sets off the colors of the flowers. Just love the results.

Hi Kristina, beautiful card, thank you so much for including the boo boo as well as how you fixed it. I had to giggle a bit because it reminded me of my 2nd attempt at making a shaker card. I noticed that everyone seems to be using funky foam to layer between the shaker elements so decided to give it a go using a Sizzix Bigz Mason jar die I've just bought. I die cut the jar out of funky foam first then faffed around trying to die cut the jar without the fixings on the side, after four attempts I actually managed it (next time I'm getting thinlet dies!) and started to layer the pieces together. Only problem was the funky foam frame was now smaller than the card frame so you could see it through the acetate! I can only assume it stretched as it went through the Big Shot rollers then contracted to the new smaller shape as I worked on the rest of the card. I ended up making a completely different card for my husband's Valentine. TFS x

Your Copic coloring is beautiful. I have had problems with shaker cards too. I found a product at Impression Obsession called SHAKE IT. SHAKE IT is a shaker card pouch. The pouches come in large and small circles, squares, and ovals. They are a great solution to most of the shaker card woes! Each type comes in a pack of 10 for $5.00.

Great save!!! Great card! Just a suggestion, when I make shaker cards with colored card stock, I try and use fun foam in a color that closely matches the card stock. That way if someone turns it side ways they see a matching color. Just a thought
