Overall it was a great draft, we gave up a lot of assets but it was worth it. Getting Dallas Turner should be talked about more, everyone gawks at the quarterback but he’s legit. I can’t wait to see how great these players are. Good reset for a great franchise!

And changed from being $15m over the salary cap in 2022 to being $11m under the cap after adding some quality FAs and paying $40m in dead cap hits to move on from Kirk and Hunter. The Vikes got 24 years younger and avoided over $100m in future cap hits replacing Kirk and Hunter with McCarthy and Turner.

He neutered Gabe Murphy in the Shrine Bowl, and could really test Brandel for that LG spot. I'm really hoping for 2 things this season. Darnold's 3rd overall pick talent to emerge and be the best QB in the division, and win the division this season. The 2022 draft class to have some luck and play enough meaningful snaps to finally shut up the haters. Skol!

@@tuckerkline4142Agree. I think McCarthy is the guy. If he isn’t, then the Vikings are in trouble as we know Darnold isn’t. Darnold is a journeyman backup that sees ghosts. He is a fringe NFL starter at his very best. Doesn’t matter how much physical talent you have when you cannot handle pressure. Performsnce under pressure is what separates the all time QBs from everyone else.

been a vikings fan my whole life. been criticizing their general management my whole life. especially after the Hershel Walker trade. but this guy gives me hope. JJ and Justin Jefferson is gonna be wild. might be the first ever rookie QB to win a bowl and that’s coming from a die hard michigan state fan. can’t wait for this season
