They did an amazing job with dvj. He feels so much more joker-ish without being one because of his voice. The gameplay, moves, nuances and rage art on the other hand feels like it has more umph in it. Like the developers made sure that he is a demon that will kill you if you make a mistake

10:54 I believe in TMM's Devil Jin Breakdown, he did show this move. I believe it's Mourning Crow 2+3, which is his 2nd Heat Smash.

It is, yes. The new moves in this trailer are ws3, MC3 and the new 2 move that goes into MC. Maybe df2 replacement? And he did b23 for free after landing ws3 counterhit, which means it's +14, which means... does DJ have a perfect electric now? XD

And it would be a disgusting oki tool as well. As a sp.mid it's just a tool to discourage people from pressing buttons.

Most of the guard breaks seem very easy to sidestep and I think they’re fine. Devil Jin does a whole charge up so if you get hit by one it’s kinda your fault. Wouldn’t make sense to make guard breaks parryable since the whole point is to break your guard, at least in my opinion.

You must not be familiar with that move from t7. It has massive backsway properties and tracks to both sides heavily....if they didn't change those traits and made it a guard break the move could be a problem

from my experience of using that move on the wall after a heaven's gate in T7, the strengths of that move is that it really tracks and the startup animation has a kind of a backstep to it. That's why it's a good move after heaven's gate since the distance is enough to whiff any wake up attack, and hit the move. Not to mention you can cancel it.

The Electric after CH WS3 has massive scaling so it's not that OP at least. Yes he does have a ground hitting move with Mourning Crow 4 but it's -20 OB. Mourning Crow 1 is a +9 high, not a mid so the mixup is for you trying to duck that high and getting hit by 2,2 heat engager. TMM played this version of DJ when he got invited to Bamco for the beginner's guide so that's where I got this info.

This Devil Jin seems like what would happen if Jin gave in to the darkness, which why this version seems more "in control". 9:55 The fact Devil Jin can knock you that far away, then just Psycho Crusher in to continue the combo is disgusting.
