After actually trying to learn Hwoarang, I'm shocked at how many people must have just never even looked at his moves and complain about him. Doing combos, sensible sequences, and keeping track of the game state on this character is miles harder than most characters I've played. You can hop on and do half decent if not very good combos and understand how to play their neutral super easily on all the other characters I've played ( Devil Jin, Reina, Yoshi, Jin, Clive, Lidia, Heihachi). Not saying these characters are better or worse than Hwo but as far as just learning in ranked and ease of use Hwo has got to be close to the bottom.

You can get to god ranks with Hwo by rolling your face around on the kick buttons. I think you do need a lot of skill though if you want to be edge or speed kicks or even Kwiss
