I love this show, it's certainly a marvel of indy animation. Caine and Jax are my favorites so far. It's interesting to see a cgi show where glitches and no clips are intentional. I really hope Pomni can keep her sanity.

I really hope chat can convince the funny streamer man to look at Glitch’s other stuff. Murder Drones has a lot of the same self-aware comedy tropes as TADC but with a darker visual tone (and if you thought choreography in this show was good, just wait till you see the Murder Drones fight scenes) and Meta Runner is just a really solid more typical animated series. Also, Gaslight District (their next upcoming project) looks amazing as well.

I think a big reason why I love tadc so much is cause it takes advantage of the fact that its 3d animated so well. Its not simply trying to replicate real life or 2d animation but in 3d but its actively using the fact its 3d to do things that would be alot harder to do in 2d. As a 3d artist it makes me alot happier watching this medium actually evolve in ways beyond hyper realism and more in creating new styles.

I’ve realized TADC starts the same way maze runner does. Main character joins during the into, meats the “mean” character first and their mentor second. Their introduces to the new setting also told theirs no way out. The same day or a day after the mc joins a side character dies to the main threat in the area turning them into a monster. (abstracting/ the flair) if raggatha dies later that makes her Alby or newt, Pomni it Thomas, Jax is Gally, Kofmo is Ben.

TADC only has a pilot out and I already saw AU versions of Pomni floating around the internet, specifically the edgy and roleswap one getting really popular. This is an exciting development, because can any fandom's AU scene ever reach the same size as Undertale's? I would love to have it happen all over again. (Undertale's AU scene is so massive that there's literally alternate multiverses, preferences for specific interpretations of an AU, and AUs so far from the original that their creators can just rename the characters to turn them into original works.)
