that noise at 0:21 you are talking about is normal my kx 250 is a 2001 an it has been rebuilt (new chrome cylander and rings only because we decided to anfter buying it used) and my uncle has an rm 250 it does it too that sound is the clutch pull it in and it will stop...

Engine noise very clear @ .21 .22 seconds its like a loose gear or something. I hear piston slap will do that but my motor is still strong I don't think I have to the top end just yet (never done it on this bike)

I have the FMF fatty and fmf shorty on my 03 and I think yours sounds better. I think that pro circuit r304 gives that sound that I like.

the fatty 4t pipes look horrible on 2 strokes plus 2 strokes have way too much power that a 4t pipe is silly we all know lighter is the way forward so what's the point arguing which is better lighter is more power aswel plus you can gain more HP by porting but what's the point if it destroys a 250f 4t stock lol

That is a normal noise on kawi 250 i have owned one since it was new and it always sounds like the wrist pin has .060 slop in it at idol That is just the nature of the beast. A loose bore gets worse as the bike heats up

Listen to the idle noise. is that engine noise normal (like valve tick on a on a 4-stroke)? My 03 kx250 does the same and it get louder after riding. I've noticed the noise changes when I pulle the clutch (nothing wrong with it already checked and replaced needle bearing just in case). Anyhow my bike is fine but the noise is weird I wish I had more experience with 2-strokes. Any comments?

how does it run comapred to stock? I always get a bike and dick with it and cant get the power how I want it. I want a nice bottem but I like a insane mid and hate when it falls off at the top. I really need more power everywhere and a strong mid.. Always tried deps, fmfs, pro circuits, reed cages could never get it how I liked it..
