KX250 First start after rebuild

One of the crank bearings failed in the KX250 (don't buy cheap crank bearings!!) so we had to do another complete rebuild of the motor. New Wiseco piston and rings, new genuine complete crank and rod and new genuine crank bearings. This is the first start-up after the rebuild.
There's a lot of smoke from all the assembly lube used - we don't use that much oil in our fuel!

This bike is smoking quite a lot in this video because of the assembly lube used when building the engine. So if yours is smoking more than this, something is probably not right. First check that your fuel is fresh and mixed to the correct ratio, (probly 32:1 or similar). If that's ok and your gearbox oil level doesn't drop after riding for a while (if it does your right-side crank seal may be leaking oil into the crankcase), then it's probably your jetting. Hope this helps!

Because I had to replace the crank, it was very expensive this time, but a normal top-end build is around $150.

whats that knocking noise. have the same noise on my bike after rebuild getting worried a bearing has failed or something.

Just 2-stroke sound with a power valve. If your bike sounds just like this one then it's fine!

26:1 is way to rich a 250 2 stroke should be running at 40:1
