In a remote controlled bldc fan, regulator must be in 5th or in direct and for non-remote controlled bldc fan, normal regulator can be used.according to today's technology

If you want, running a remote bldc fan with a normal regulator, a capacitor must be added and a suitable pcb bord must be requard. It is a very difficult thing for a normal mechanic.
