Cheap no good Mike Smith...he shorted me a dozen donuts once. At mid sized tracks, it was customary when a jockey wins a race for him to bring a dozen donuts for the barn crew that takes care of the horse. At Remington Park he won a race on a horse that I groomed while working for Jinks Fires. When later asked about it he blew us off and said we were not worth his time and he wouldnt do it. Why forget the little guy that does all the gritty work over a lousy dozen donuts??
