Hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT) is a treatment option for sudden sensorineural hearing loss (SSNHL). The therapy involves 10 to 20 90-minute sessions in a hyperbaric chamber, where additional oxygen is delivered to the inner ear tissues. This is based on the idea that sudden deafness is caused by damage to the inner ear, which can be overcome by increasing oxygen diffusion in the damaged areas.

Only when u reach there within 48- 72 hours along with oral steroid from the day u faced this prob. I faced same issue took 15 hyperbaric oxygen therapy along with 5 intra tympanic injections but not even 1% of improvement. Life time tinnitus sound in that effected ear and virtigo are two prob that come with this hearing loss
