Dear Dr. Bansal, I have watched some of your videos. And, they are very inspiring and motivational. I feel more positive just by listening to your videos, so I want to thank you for that. With this one, I was just wondering about the friendship role. You said how Karna was a loyal friend to Duryodhana despite knowing that Duryodhana was follwoing unrighteousness. And, that is a great friendship! However, neither did Duryodhana gain nor Karna from that partnership! If Karna had tried to either stop Duryodhana or not supported for the unrighteous, the result would have been different! Now, I get that Karna was Sud putra who was not going to get any kingdom to rule if Duryodhana had not offered to him. He was oppressed by the caste system because he was a warrior son just raised in lower caste. While Duryodhana befriended him for gains as he was a great warrior, he gave in for more justice in his community. He later started realizing that was a wrong move, but he was too loyal to back out. He promised to fulfill his friendship without knowing what the future was going to bring! In such cases, wouldn't it be right to back out despite promise? Since he was a warrior by nature, he could have joined Arjuna's team too to fight the war because Krishna did give him that chance I believe! These days, we can form independent side fortunately and thanks to evolution. Back then, it was only those two sides. Karna's death was the most unjustified death I think, but his visions were taken into considerations after pandavas realized he was their elder.
