Hi I need your advice, I have been driving Alto K10 for 7 years and if I go for Baleno Sigma MT...is it fine or should I go for AMT? I never drove AMT before and only took Ignis AMT test drive but that was uncomfortable. What do you suggest?

I have one question.If u release ur foot quickly from the brake pedal will the car engine stall and turn off?Suppose the car is in 5th gear and you brake suddenly, then will the car engine turn off?Can the car start off while reversing uphill or while driving in off roads?Have u ever experienced this or can this happen?Plz reply me about this issue Sir.

It will never stall, no matter what speeds you're doing. The engine manages the gearbox very efficently. You just press the Accelerator and brake pedal rest everything will be taken care of.

@darshanvarma2458. No, it's difference. BALENO CVT IS COMPLETE DRIVED ON BELT TECHNOLOGY. ITS LIKE ACTIVA AND JUPITER. BALENO AMT IS AUTOMATIC MANUNAL TRANSMISSION. Were manual car only has some software which allow manual to be automatic. So, CVT is better than AMT as CVT doesn't have gear system so it's smooth and doesn't lack. AMT has lack and jerk. As it's gear system, a manual car having software that allows to be drive automatic car.

Maruti AGS baleno has very poor sound system and whole sound system farts with high beat music. Try following sound setting yourself equaliser and run some hindi music as suggested in this note: Jazz, Sourround sense: Dynamic, Balance fade:Rear, Sound level: 29. With this setting play high beat music and notice that loud thud distorting sound comes from your speakers, I have noticed this issue on April 2023 and have reported this issue to Maruti, The maruti Vendor Clarion rep came from Pune and inspected vehicle and even changed my Display for verification but problem did not disappear, Maruti zonal service manager is asking more and more time to resolve the issue for last two months but not able to resolve the issue. MSIL and Clarion team is still working on the issue without any solution. Try following song: shila ki Jawani, Beharm Rang, or high beat michael jackson songs. Please check in your vehicle and report the issue to Maruti for replacement of your sound system for manufacturing/design defect of its speakers. This problem may also appear in other maruti models like Fronx and Grad vitara where maruti has used same variant of clarion speaker. So please check before buying.

Let me answer your question. Driving in a crowded area is very simple. Only the brake pedal is used, when you keep the brake pedal pressed the vehicle will stop. When you release the brake pedal the car will move forward on its own. So the trick is don't use the accelerator pedal in a crowded street, using only one pedal that's the brake pedal you will drive skillfully.

Even CVT has shifting ratios, Honda calls it steps, Honda gives 7 step CVT and baleno previously use to have 5 step CVT, these steps does give you feeling of changing gears.

CVT me lag matlab dusra meaning hota ....... jaise scooter me sudden acceleration feel hota hai ...... Haan scooter ke CVT me chhota drive pulleys hote hein isliye jyada feel nahin hoti ..... par car me bade pulley lage hote hein low & high ratio me convert hone me ...... Minutely chalake dekhiye feel samajh me ajayegi ......

Salesman was trying hard to convince me to book manual version by telling that mileage of AMT is less than manual version by 4 kmpl and AMT requires more maintenance. Please tell is this true ? @@Pritam043 Very minimal jerk feels during gear shifting as it does in all AMT, but mileage is superb according to me, I got 22 on highway and 14-16 in city also. If you drive through congested or dense traffic mileage may be low but AMT is super comfortable to drive through these conditions.
