It's not always true.. love is a deep feeling and complex concept, anyone can feel love irrespective of sexuality. I as asexual want to say it's a subsection that was not represented in movies or daily shows. When i was a teen and lived in a hostel, most of girls have bfs or crushes ,I used to say i don't have attraction , my friends used to say I am faking it to show high morality. Even when I used to say I might be asexual, my friends mocked me saying no asexuality don't exist, I must have a secret boyfriend. Later when I said i don't want to marry cause i hate sex, my sister said " are u lesbian?" I said, "No , why can't u just understand". So people here understand,heterosexuality, homosexuality but not asexuality. PS: I like to add i don't agree with what he said tha,t Asexuality arise due to sexual assault in childhood/teenage. No some don't want to hookup with people without any reason. Asexual may have crush but they just admire them as fan than wanting to sex with them. Some realised their Asexuality after doing sex and thinking it's just an overrated activity, watching movie are more fun.

Thank god, you came here and educated a tons of asexual ppl too. You should've also mentioned about what sort of partner one asexual person seek! As you said homo romantic and hetero romantic asexuals also exist, so I personally feel and would suggest an asexual person should seek another asexual person if he or she wants lifetime partnership and should not play with sexual person's emotions and life. I had few experiences of asexual ppl. And I always suggested them the same. Majority asexuals do not admit their orientation/sexuality, instead they stick to lesbian or gay tag and spoil others' life, and they too suffer a lot.
