BJP is not able to counter to handle Muslims. They know muslims have good population and they will not be able tackle the outrage of muslims if they are attacked as they have seen in the case in CAA. Now sikhs are only 2% of population and easy target because sikhs can be triggered easily on religious issues. So in my personal view the BJP is planning to bring punjab in same situation as that of 1984. They know if there is 1984 like riots against sikhs then they may cross 400 seats as congress did post 1984 riots. So the road to 400 paar is 1984 like riots and gaining hindu sympathy. This will open doors of BJP in south india also.
